Yes- from 0-100 +!! For our younger guests we have lifejackets for all sizes. Babies and Toddlers are most welcome onboard but pushchairs and prams must be left in a safe location at the marina.
For senior guests, pregnant ladies or anyone with special medical conditions please advise at time of booking and we can arrange any special assistance if required.
For Stand-up paddle and Single Kayak there is a minimum age of 12 years. For Double Kayak: up to two adults and one child 3– 5 years old, or one adult and one child 5 – 12 years old in each kayak.
NO! you just need to be able to swim. Many of our guests have no previous experience, especially at the paddle-boarding. At our launch site on of our trained guides will give you a great introduction and training and provide you with all the right equipment before leading you into the mangroves.
Yes, As long as you have a knowledge of the equipment and the ability to swim. A full briefing will be given at the launch, along with an overview of the map of the mangroves, then you are set free to explore on your own!
Yes, we welcome people to bring their own equipment and launch from our dock. We charge a minimal fee of 25AED for this , which includes use of the launch, use of our storage boxes for personal belongings, water and board/kayak washdown on return.
Free parking and Valet parking are available at all the marinas. (NB Parking is not reserved for guests and the marinas can be busy at peak times)
Very likely! On the tours that do not include a beach or swim stop the chances of getting wet are lower but there is always a risk of spray.
For the watersports we recommend bathing attire as it is highly likely you will get wet!
For our beach getaways we recommend bathing attire or beach clothes along with suitable
footwear even if you don’t wish to swim – it is likely you will have to wade through shallow
waters to reach the sandbank.
There is no dress code for our other boat tours.

Yes, we provide dry bags so you can carry your phones, wallets etc with you. We also have storage boxes on the pontoon where you can leave personal belongings before going into the water.
The route operates between the Souk at Shangri La, Venetian Village at Ritz Carlton and the Fairmont hotel. The ticket price is for 1 trip – this can be from one hotel to another, or you are welcome to stay on board for the full circular route. If you disembark another ticket will need to be purchased on your return.
No, we would advise that guests bring their own towels.
Toilet and changing facilities are available at Yas Marina. Toilet facilities are available at Eastern Mangroves marina. There are no toilets on the boats or the islands.
If the weather is deemed unsafe to travel we will offer to reschedule the trip or refund in full.
We have a cooler on board all our boats, and on the pontoon at the watersports launch, with ice and chilled waters. You are welcome to bring any additional drinks and food with you.
Cancellations with more than 48 hours’ notice before the schedule departure time will be refunded in full. No- shows or cancellation with less than 48 hours before the schedule departure time will not be refunded. We will refund you in full if your tour is cancelled due to bad weather conditions or unforeseen conditions beyond our control. In the event of mechanic failure, we will endeavor to find a replacement and will offer refund if the tour is cancelled.
Cancellations less than 10 days prior to event date are non-refundable.
